#097 MEN'S SILK KIMONO WITH FABULOUS PAINTED 'SHOUTING TIGER'
This gorgeous quality silk kimono was made for men, possibly in the 1960s. It's difficult to tell as it appears from its label never to have been worn but hand painted items were not as popular after this time. It has no sleeve splits and can be worn open or belted depending on one's build. What would traditionally be worn inside is featured outside purely because of the 'shouting (roaring) tiger' artfully hand painted on the back. A real show stopper this one!
Measurements are to be found within the images. You can check the measures against a jacket (or kimono!) you own and are happy with.
These are all pre-loved vintage items and will show some evidence of use - occasional age spots or marks - although we try to choose the most wearable pieces which are in good condition.
Clean fresh stains and spills with wipes and hang out to air. This should be enough. Never wash a lined silk kimono and if one must, dry clean only. This will prolong its' life.
