#224 BINGATA STENCILLED CREPE SILK KIMONO WITH PATCHWORK FAN DESIGN
Bingata stencilling is a way of getting a pattern repeated on the long length of fabric needed to make a kimono and then make unique by hand painting the myriad of colours needed for all the detail involved. In this case, fan designs with landscapes and florals inside.
This one would be suitable for both shortening and enlarging and would make a lovely house robe or an outfit for an event.
Model is 5'10'' and is in heels.
Measurements are to be found within the images and you can check the measures against a dressing gown or kimono you own and are happy with.
These are all pre-loved vintage items and will show some evidence of use - occasional
age spots or marks - although we try to choose the most wearable pieces which
are in good condition.
Clean fresh stains and spills with wipes and hang out to air. This should be enough.
Dry clean only as a last resort and NEVER wash. This will prolong the life of
your vintage item.
