Now we're out of lockdown, 'Objects of Desire' has been ramping up the fairs and we've been on the road...or 'I've been on the road' if my delightful assistant, the offspring Romany, isn't with me and have been showing at a whole different raft of fairs and events.
I thought it might be useful if I posted the next places we'll be showing the wonderful, dazzling rainbow that is our gorgeous kimonos, as shown above. Currently booked dates are:- Shrewsbury Flea at West Midlands Showground SY1 2PF, on 7th/8th August; Newark Antiques & Collectors Fair at Newark and Notts showground NG24 2NY on 12th/13th August; Newmarket Antiques & Collectors Fair at the Racecourse 15th August; Lou Lou's Vintage Carnival, Nottingham Racecourse 4th September. We're on the waiting list for the Malvern Flea and planning to do Ardingly Antiques & Collectors Fair on 7th/8th September and Oswestry Flea 18th/19th September. More dates will follow and I'll be posting them also on our Facebook page, @objectsofdesireuk

As you may have guessed, there have been no live vintage fairs to report on since March so when we moved to virtual fairs I decided that I would maintain the tradition of the #allbymyselfie that I always did in the absence of my 'wing-man', my lovely daughter Romany, at any of the fairs I did on my own.
Here are the photos all together. My seasons faves were the bright red crane juban and the 1930s pink with red and black....very optimistic colours!
