#1038 - VIVID PURPLE DAMASK SILK KIMONO FROM THE 1920s - LENGTH ALTERATION INCLUDED IN PRICE
This is a classic 20's red silk lined, plain damask silk kimono and is a lightweight one compared to later styles.
The price includes a length reduction sewn by hand as this formal kimono has the Japanese style of middle fold-up which is too long to wear at average height.
On purchase please state required length at which point we can offer extra accessories made from the cut-off pieces where/if possible. That all depends on the requested length.
However, if you want this one just the way it is, as the 1920s/30s kimonos are usually of a shorter length anyway, a £15 refund will be given.

This is a vintage item so there may be signs of previous use which cannot be helped but I do try to choose wearable pieces.
It will give you you much use if treated with respect. - Air between wears. Wet wipe and air dry any immediate spills. Press with cloth on outside or press from the inside only... or just steam to remove creases and only dry clean when absolutely necessary in order to prolong its life. DO NOT WASH!
